A Letter from Jennifer A. Grogan, Head of School

February 2017 Newsletter

Dear Parents,

I hope you and yours are well and enjoying the new year and winter season. January was a busy month for the children, faculty and administration as we began the second semester. The classrooms are buzzing with play, song and artistic creation while the office phones are ringing with admissions and ongoing school communications. Never a dull moment here at Weekday!

The faculty gathered in January to continue working together on this year's theme of "Expanding Self Awareness". Michael Weiner and I led activities and dialogue around personal family relationships and how they influence and impact our lives and our work. It was another enlightening and thought provoking conversation with our extraordinary teachers who continue to impress.

Looking forward, our annual Auction & Gala is fast approaching...

Casino Night: An Adventurous Evening of Game, Glam and Glitz!

Be sure to get you donations and raffle tickets into the office as soon as possible!

If you have not done so already, please RSVP to confirm that you will be joining us. And remember, you have already paid for two Auction & Gala tickets through your annual fundraising fee.   A $100 charge for one book of raffle tickets has been added to your accounts this month and that charge will be processed on March 1st

I hope to see you all at Friday's PA Meeting (2/3) at 9:15am in The Rainy Day Room and/or around the halls during the month of February.

Fondly,

Jennifer A. Grogan

Head of School
