Letter from our Head of School – Debra Frankel

Dear Weekday Families,

Last week, on what typically would have been Friday of Spring Recess, I found myself writing an email that read:  ” I hope this email finds everyone doing their best to stay healthy and grounded during these unchartered times.”  Today is Tuesday, March 24th, and I am writing from my home, still hoping the same.

Weekday remains on its scheduled Spring Recess through Monday, March 30th, and we continue to pay careful attention to all of the information being generated, are in communication with the Riverside Church, appropriate government agencies, one another, and have scheduled an online faculty meeting for this Thursday, at noon.  At that time, we will formalize online learning for the near future, should that be necessary.

Because this is ever-evolving, and because we do hope to re-open quickly, I will be in touch with our school community with the most up to date information possible mid-afternoon this Friday.

Between now and then, should anyone have any questions, ideas, suggestions and/or simply wish to connect, please let me know.  If there is something that we can do that might offer support at this time, please let us know!
