Our Educators

At The Weekday School, our faculty is a dedicated, collaborative, and passionate team of early childhood educators. Each educator brings unique experiences, talents, and perspectives to our classrooms while sharing a common goal: to guide children in exploring, discovering, and growing into thoughtful, compassionate, and capable learners.

We recognize the multi-dimensional role of educators:

  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and creative growth through observation, listening, documentation, and hands-on experiences

  • Designing classroom and specialized spaces to encourage independence, collaboration, and wonder

  • Creating responsive curriculum that builds on children’s emerging skills and promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and self-expression

  • Engaging in reflective practice and ongoing professional development to stay connected to research and innovations in early childhood education

  • Partnering with families, bridging home and school, and honoring the diversity of cultures, traditions, and experiences in our community

Educators work in teams of two or three to ensure individualized attention and care. Supported by the Head of School, our educators collaborate regularly to develop curriculum, reflect on practice, and set classroom goals. Together, they create a warm, inspiring, and dynamic environment where children are valued, challenged, and celebrated every day.
